Polish Agency for Enterprise Development

Polish Agency for Enterprise Development is a governmental agency subject to the Minister competent for the economy. It was established under the act of 9 November 2000 on establishing Polish Agency for Enterprise Development (Journal of Laws of 2000 No. 109 item 1158). Agency’s task is to manage the funds from state budget and European Union, designated for entrepreneurship support and human resources development, with special focus on the needs of small- and medium-sized enterprises.  Polish Agency for Enterprise Development is also one of the institutions responsible for implementation of the activities financed from structural funds. Objective of the Agency is to implement the programmes for economy development, especially in the scope of supporting development of small- and medium-sized enterprises, export, regional development, utilization of new technical solutions, establishing new jobs, preventing unemployment and human resources development.
